Hi! Hope you are having a great day. I'm Luigi Villa aka Kanukling (my artist name). A Web & UI Designer, Front-end Developer, and Illustrator from the Phillipines.
I've been a part of the web and design industry for over 13 years now and had the priviledge working with multiple clients and companies around the globe through the use of the internet. I have been working locally with various foreign companies and also had the experience working as a freelance designer a few years back. Working with a diverse set of clients throughout the years helped me develop my own identity as a designer as well as expertise in meeting different client demands.
I'm currently working as a Web & Graphics Designer, Webmaster, Front-end developer and Data Visualizer for a US start up company in the Philippines. I know it's a lot but having multiple skillset instead of focusing on one has it's own benefits and the industry, in its current state, is quite competitive. In my free time, I usually do art related projects like making vector/pixel art, learning new programs or doing some digital illustrations. I still believe that I have more to learn and can further develop my skills and capabilities as a designer.
My hobbies are drawing, gaming, hiking, and watching movies or series from time to time. My weakness is that I'm not a good Back-End Developer, I'm confused with internal PC specifications and I do not sing/dance on Christmas parties. I tend to lean more on the design side of things and focus on what I'm good at. Knowing one's weakness is great but developing one's own strength and making a good use of it is just as important.
